Installation-Day One:
Installation has hit a temporary stand still due to recent snow and cold temperatures.  The formwork was half hung before being taken down to prevent any deterioration due to the weather.   Reinstallation will resume when the weather permits.

Full Scale Fabrication

 – silicone bead applied
 – center circles formed
 – cables cut and crimped
 – I-Beams fabricated(Alp Steel – Buffalo, NY)
Final Formwork(yet to be completed):
 – internal form ties(pinches)
 – boundary condition resined
 – suspend system
 – Fabrication of opening connection

Connection Test

Objective:
 – Investigation into the load one connection can withstand before failure
Outcome:
 – 400 lbs. + before steel jig buckled and forced the concrete and fabric to shear
 – Minimal concrete fall out
 – Resin connection with silicone bead a success
